Water Hygiene Technician

WEMCo are the leading facilities management company in the South West, and due to our continuing growth, we are looking for an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join our team.

We are a reliable, dynamic and personable company having built our reputation on outstanding customer focused service.

Candidates are required to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Water Hygiene monitoring role and some additional experience in risk assessment or in plumbing would be very advantageous. A full driving licence is required.

The role:

·        Plumbing / remedial works

·        Temperature monitoring and general HSG274 water hygiene tasks

·        Outlet / Shower descaling

·        Collection of samples from domestic watersystems, and submission for laboratory analysis

·        TMV maintenance

·        CWS Tank inspection

·        Chlorination and disinfection work

·        Legionella risk assessment would be advantage

·        Participate in an out of hours stand by rota.(Approx 1 in 16 weeks)

About you:

·        Have knowledge of HSG274 Part 2 Legionellabacteria in hot & cold water systems

·        Working knowledge of building systems.

·        Have experience of working in a commercial,field-based role.

·        Have a proactive approach to problem solving anda can-do attitude.

·        Have great communication skills to deal with endusers and colleagues alike.

·        Starting salary £29,000 (depending onexperience) and overtime at enhanced rates.

·        30 days holiday, plus an extra day for every 5years of service.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30, although some flexibility will be required at times.

Commercial Gas Engineer - Expires 30/04/2025

WEMCo are the leading facilities management company in the South West, and due to our continuing growth, we are looking for a qualified Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team.

We are a reliable, dynamic and personable company having built our reputation on outstanding customer focused service.

 

The role:

·       Carry out routine PPM tasks and reactive works in commercial and industrial properties.

·       Responding to reactive call outs and fault finding on boilers and heating systems.

·       Installation of new plant and equipment.

·       Participate in an out of hours stand by rota.(Approx 1 in 14 weeks)

 

About you:

·       You will hold the relevant Commercial Gas Safe qualifications, certifications and tickets

(Level 3 C&G/NVQ, COCN1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1,ICAE1, ICPN1 and TPC1A)

·       Have experience of working in a commercial, field-based role.

·       Have a proactive approach to problem solving and a can-do attitude.

·       Have great communication skills to deal with end users and colleagues alike.
